To some users that has been warned by Sony for having unauthorized files on the PS3, a new terms of agreement has been issued upon signing onto the PlayStation Network.
But unlike every other “Terms of Agreement” statements, this one was not issued out to everyone who has a PSN account [as of right now]. The editor of JustPushStart and myself logged on to the PSN today and did not receive the “Terms of Agreement” statement today.
The same thing did not happen to some other gamers however. Some forum members over at at a certain hacking forums received the statement and were ordered to agree on them if they wanted to continue logging on to their accounts. Here’s some of the highlights of the new terms of agreement that these pirates has to agree;
“You agree that you will not use any unauthorized hardware, including peripherals not sold or licensed by a Sony company such as, by way of example only, non-licensed game enhancement devices, controllers, adaptors and power supply devices (collectively, “Non-Licensed Peripherals”) or software to access or use Sony Online Services or any content or service provided on or through Sony Online Services.”

February 18, 2011 at 4:22 AMOh wow! Sony has really lost it now..
“..non-licensed game enhancement devices, controllers, adapters and power supply devices (collectively, “Non-Licensed Peripherals”)” are they for real? controllers? power supplies? INSANE!
As I’ve been saying for a while now, BOYCOTT SONY!

February 18, 2011 at 7:58 AMAnother thought, we have two ps3’s in our home, I personally despise hacks & cheats while my son views it as doing nothing wrong because he and is buddies are in private rooms doing what they do so it shouldn’t effect other online players.
My point is I had to agree to the terms again so it appears Sony is tracking the IP address which is not fair to people like me.
It would be everyone’s better interest if Sony could make it easier to report Hacks & Cheats, my current game of choice is Dirt2 so I don’t know if the hacks should be reported to Codemasters or Sony?
For more of my thoughts on this see raceps3.com and read the post on cheaters & hacks that’s been up for about a year now.
Does anyone know where to report hacks that will produce results?

February 18, 2011 at 11:26 AMI also had to do the new agreement, but I have never cheated or used any hacks on any games ever. I wonder if they consider my Tritton gaming headset a “game enhancement device”.
If so that is lame
