Sledgehammer Games has today made a rather bold statement concerning the Call of Duty title that the company is currently working on. Rumoured although not yet confirmed to be working on Modern Warfare 3, Sledgehammer games wants to beat all the previous COD titles.
Not only does the company wish to meet “the high expectations of gamers” by releasing a “bug free” title but they wish to literally 1 up Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2 which are rated on Metacritic as 94/100 by achieving “a 95-plus rated Call of Duty game”.
Do you think Sledgehammer, Raven and Infinity Ward working as a team can do this? Or will the ratings fall overall again on the Call of Duty series like they did with Black Ops launch? Comment below.
