With the release of Call of Duty Black Ops’ much anticipated first DLC, First Strike. There might be some unexpected hardships.
Quite differently from most DLC, the First Strike pack is tied to the language of your disc. This will not be new to European gamers, but for US gamers this can cause you some unexpected problems. So for instance if you have the English copy, you need the English pack. Make sure you know where your disc is from, and the DLC you’re buying states “English” version.
More on First Strike will be revealed this week. Check back for our review later this week.

February 1, 2011 at 9:59 AMI wish the cost wasn’t $15, but hey what can we do? I have to wait until PS3 maps come out. I came across this Modern Warfare 3 http://mwarfare3.com/ website yesterday and they supposedly have a source who revealed the MW3 plot. Anyone else read it?

February 1, 2011 at 2:31 PMYou can see which version your game is by looking on the spine of the game. There will be a code underneath the ’18’ rated circle with either BLES then some numbers if you are UK, BLUS if you are America. Not sure what it is for Europe or any other regions. Think Europe is BLES.
