It’s not news that Konami has had a piece of Hudson, infact they’ve owned 54% since April 2005 though things are about to change.
The goal is to make Hudson stronger as a whole, and make their games better. For those who might not know of Hudson their best known for the Bomberman series. The full conversation is currently set to take place on April 1, and will make some of the details more solid, but they hope to take over all aspects from Nintendo to even the Mobile Phone market.
The change will go into affect the day after the current CEO Michihiro Ishizuka resigns. Currently no one is set to take over the spot but Konami is thinking of sending one of their own to watch over Hudson. Finally with the new change might also result in a new name for the company as Konami is thinking of changing their name of intertwining the two names as one.
