Josh Olin has today announced via twitter that the PlayStation 3 will soon be receiving another Black Ops patch. On his JD2020 account Olin said the patch for the PS3 “will be out soon” but gave no details on what the patch itself does.
Recently there has been a lot of talk about the PS3 Black Ops servers being completely shut down but it seems Treyarch aren’t ready to do that yet. Olin also added on the lack of details that “more details still to come” but many expect it to attempt to further fix matchmaking issues, the ‘overpowered’ AK74u with grip as well as possibly adding in the necessary code for the First Strike DLC when it eventually makes its way onto the PS3.
Stay tuned for details on the upcoming patch.
