Sony has announced that Gran Turismo 5 has already shipped 5.5 million copies worldwide.
This is an impressive feat considering the game faced many delays before eventually being released in late November. According to the latest data complied by VGChartz , Gran Turismo 5 has sold 2.9 million copies. Demand for the game should expect to rise as we draw closer to Christmas.
In another statistical milestone, Sony announced that total shipments for the entire Gran Turismo series is now at 60 million.
