600,000 Orders For Ni no Kuni

Famitsu.com has reported that Level-5 game, Ni no Kuni, already has 600,000 pre-orders.

Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino announced this impressive feat during a press conference in Tokyo. It is the biggest amount of pre-orders ever from a Level-5 property. Hino said during the same conference that he expects the game to sell over a million or maybe two million copies in Japan alone.

The event had appearances from the voice actors and a gameplay demonstration.

Ni no Kuni is out December 9th in Japan for the Nintendo DS. A PS3 version of the game is scheduled for release sometime in 2011.
