It seems players may now be able to target the player in the lead during matches on multiplayer on Call of Duty Black Ops. A recent gameplay video of the wager match ‘Sticks and Stones’ it was pointed out that during a UAV sweep one player was highlighted in a golden yellow color. The picture below shows this golden dot, although relatively unclear compared to the original video, it can be distinguished from the usual red dots.
Wager matches are free for all only as Treyarch have said party or group wager matches didn’t work out as well so this rules out the idea of it being a party or team member leaving the option of the current leader. This would also fit with the golden 1st place symbol that players have when in the lead.
Black Ops will be released for PS3, 360 and PC on November 9th.
