With Gran Turismo 5 releasing in less than 48 hours, a new patch will be waiting to push through the player’s console as soon as the player starts playing Gran Turismo 5.
Version 1.01 is a patch that opens up the online portion of Gran Turismo 5. If the player decides not to download the update, there will be no way for that player to access the online portion of the game. Make sure that at least 133MB of HDD space is available in your hard drive.
Our review of Gran Turismo 5 is scheduled to be published on Wednesday 12AM PST. Check back soon for our exclusive coverage of the game.

And I think thats a terrible idea orbilator. I did just get my PS3 connected through an android phone but I dont want to wait forever for the update through 3G. To bad they dont have a pc downloadable like the system updates.
Who the hell have you heard has pirated PS3 games anyways?
