Uncharted 3 has today had two strong leaks prior to any official announcement. Firstly Amazon.fr listed Uncharted 3: World of Deceit under its PlayStation 3 section which sparked many into thinking an announcement would come shortly and this was then followed up by the first concept art pieces. It was noticed the Uncharted 3 box art on amazon.fr was in fact a piece of concept art.
The artist Albert Ng has posted a few concept art pieces that he has personally done onto his Blogspot adding further rumours about a reveal. Albert Ng works for a company called Tyler West Studio who just happen to have Sony as one of their clients, could there be any more proof needed?
Sony and Naughty Dog are yet to comment but expect to hear some news over the next few days and even possibly a first teaser trailer or a reveal for Uncharted 3: World of Deceit.
Update
Naughty Dog’s Arne Meyer has commented and said this is in fact not Uncharted three and not only were the concepts fake but also the title. Meyer’s exact words on the topic were “The concept art, title, and everything shown is not a representation of Uncharted 3 in any way, shape, or form.” It seems that unfortunately we will have to wait a little longer for an unveiling of the next Uncharted title.
