Following on the heels of Ys Seven, Xseed Games & Nihon Falcom will be releasing Ys: The Oath in Felghana. This tells the tale of an older adventure in which Adol Christin visits Felghana, Dogi’s homeland. There, natural disasters and rumors of monsters roaming the countryside have gripped the country. This is compounded by Count McGuire, an evil dictator who has squeezed the land almost dry for over 20 years. Dogi, along with his best friend Adol, must find a way to save his birthplace and the people he cares about.
The attached screens show off some new environments, action, and some of the dialogue. At a glance players who have played Ys Seven will notice immediately that the art style is much different. Please take a look at some screens below.
This game is set to be released some time in 2010 exclusively for the PSP via UMD and PSN.
