Amazon Japan has begun taking initial pre-orders for what appears to be the Super Mario Collection Special Pack.
The product description was not detailed but Game Jouhou has posted a story which might appear to be what the game should offer.
Here is a brief run-down:
*Comes with a booklet and and CD Soundtrack
*Is a port from the 1993 Super Mario Collection
*Has better sound and graphics
*Booklet includes historical prints and other unreleased developmental material
*CD soundtrack includes music from Super Mario all the way to Super Mario Galaxy 2.
*It’s a Limited Edition release celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Super Mario.
Nintendo has yet to officially announce of its presence but it looks as if the game is indeed coming and will be out in Japan in the near future. Considering the popularity of Mario around the world we should expect to see the game hit other territories too. Until then, we’ll wait for an official announcement from Nintendo.
