Despite the ‘Pokémon Global Link’ being taken down, Pokémon Black & White have shattered the series sales. Within two days Black & White has sold over a million more units than the previously released Diamond & Pearl.
In 2006 Diamond and Pearl’s first week sales equalled just over 1.5 million but the initial sales for Black and White appear to be 2.6 million units sold, smashing the series sales record. The game brings new Pokémon and features to the game as well as the online system, which is partially down but supposed to be improved. The expected down time for the Pokémon Global Link is about a week so why not train up your Pokémon this week and get ready for when it’s up and live next week when the other 2.6 million users attempt to try it out.
