Having a downloadable content for the games we love are one of the things we mostly want as it adds replay value to the game. With Capcom releasing Dead Rising 2 and a lot more in the coming years, expect more DLCs.
In a recent interview of Tsujimoto with Fuji Sankei, he said that bringing DLCs to games on the major platforms are one of the things that they’re planning to do to increase the income of the company. Capcom plans to bring forth the online billing system that the PlayStation 3 uses to the future titles of the company such as Monster Hunter Frontier on the Xbox 360. Having DLCs to every game that they release will increase the company’s earnings, as well as adds more replay value to the game
The first game that will have a series of downloadable content is the upcoming Dead Rising 2 that is scheduled for release this Fall on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
