Ubisoft announced today that “Racket Sports” will be available on the PlayStation 3 with full PlayStation Move support in September 2010.
Racket Sports or Racquet Sports is a multi-sport game with tennis, ping-pong, badminton, squash and beach tennis. The game was a Wii exclusive title until Sony introduced its Move of course.
Racket Sports promises to deliver an enjoyable experience for both newcomers and experts with improved graphics thanks to the power of the PS3. It also includes realistic gameplay mechanics so you will feel like you’re playing a real match.
There will also be 30 environments for you to play in with iconic locations such as the foot of Mount Fuji and the skyline of Dubai among others. You will get to play as 11 different athletes, each with their own personality and flair. Plus each character will be customizable, so you can change their outfit, hair style or racquet.
There will also be a multiplayer mode so up to four players can play at one time for some insane doubles action.
Racket Sports will be available in most territories in September 2010. This includes both Australia and New Zealand.
