It is a fact that licensed Microsoft accessories for the Xbox 360 are unreasonably expensive. One of these products though, the 16GB flash drive, just received a price drop.
Originally priced at $69.99, Xbox 360 owners can now purchase the accessory at new low price of $59.99, a savings of $10. Purchasing the official 16GB flash drive does not require any set up to get acknowledge on the Xbox 360, just plug it in and you’re set.
But if $59.99 is still an unreasonable price, why not just get an after market flash drive?

July 12, 2010 at 12:01 AMYou have to buy the official Xbox flash drives if you want them to work correctly. Its well known that if its not supported by Microsoft, then it will have issues because they always make the best products in the world.
They should charge double because there is no way any other flash drive can be anywhere close to the quality of the Xbox branded drives. Its not like they are sandisk or something.
