Ever since the arrival of Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network most demos required you to download them online. However, Square-Enix will welcome back the demo disc soon.
Square-Enix has officially announced today it is planning to release a demo Blu-ray disc that will give gamers a taste of what the publisher will release in the future.
The demo disc is called Square Enix Magazine Demo Disc Vol.1.

Kane & Lynch 2 Dog Days
Just Cause 2
Batman Arkham Asylum
Trine the Lost Relic
Thexder and Crystal Defenders.

There are reportedly two ways you can get a hold of the disc. As of now it seems only Japanese gamers will get it as they can rent the disc by visiting Japanese retailer Tsutaya from August 12th, 2010. The other way to get it is by winning it off Famistu magazine. They have 1000 copies to give away in the latest issue.
