With Natal now known as “Kinect” Microsoft felt it was time to show-off the new abilities of the hardware by showing a new Kinect controlled dashboard.
Microsoft showed a new dashboard for its applications on the Xbox 360. Interesting to note is that you will no longer need a controller to use these apps. You can use Kinect to simply point and click on an app to use it. Microsoft’s move app Netflix was shown fully functional without any controller support. Everything was controlled via your hands thanks to Kinect.
On a related note a new app was shown too. It has no name yet but you can share photo albums in real time online and a video chat using Kinect to talk to your friends.
