After many delays Gran Turismo 5 has finally gotten a release date penned. With a North American date set for November 2, 2010.
Yes, you read that correctly. After five long years of waiting, the game will be available in North America and Latin America on Tuesday November 2.
A Japanese and European date was not announced but is expected to be released in that same week.
Sony also announced that Gran Turismo 5 will be compatible with 3D televisions. It will also have PlayStation Move functionality.
We will keep you updated when Sony will announce release dates for other regions.
In the meantime Sony President, Jack Tretton announced that a special “Collector’s Edition” of the game will also be available on November 2nd 2010 in America.
The Collector’s Edition of Gran Turismo 5 will include:
• An exclusive die-cast 2009 Nissan GT-R Spec V with a custom Gran Turismo paint job.
• An exclusive Collector’s Edition book containing driving techniques, professional racing tips, car and engine basics, and reference data about Gran Turismo 5.
