The official site of Xenoblade has been updated which further explains more gameplay details from the upcoming Wii RPG title.
New to the system scetion of the site has a look at the two main areas of the game called “Kizuna” and “Yarikomi.”
“Kizuna” means “bonds” in Japanese and this area of the game focuses on you relationship with other characters you will meet during your adventure. You can even deepen relationships with NPCs if you finish a quest from them. Obviously, you can check on the “Kizuna” concerning your bond with your party members. These bonds are important as they affect you in battle to how you spend your time in towns.
“Yarikomi” is a Japanese word often used for extra content that is featured in games. This section so far has three sections:
Play Awards
This is the game’s achievement list. You can check the list to see which ones you have unlocked. The site also suggests you can look at the Play Awards to see how much you have enjoyed the game.
Collepedia
Is you items encyclopedia. It shows all the items you have collected in each area of the game you have explored.
City Building
You can even help out trying to rebuild cities which have been destroyed. You’ll be able to lend items or money in order to help the city thrive again.
So far, this is just some of the gameplay elements you can indulge in outside of the main storyline. Xenoblade will be released exclusively on the Wii in Japan first on June 10th. No word yet of the game will be released in other regions. We will keep you posted when more announcements come.
