Saddle Up with These Red Dead Redemption Cheats

Shouldn’t the first cheat be Invincibility rather than the listed Invisibility…

A question for anyone, How do you take a wanted person alive, and /or hog tie them? I always have to kill them which is less the bounty?

thanks for the info. now how or where do you get the rope, I see ur able to lasso ppl during the game but havn’t found where to get it, or how to use it, if I already have it?

sorry if I sound stupid, but the only weapons I have are a pistol, rifle, knife and a fist? I don’t see any rope, all the others are X out. and again sry haven’t played video games in many years, old computer gamer here.

Out of curiosity, does this mean that once a cheat is enabled, you can’t save at all, ever again? Or does this mean, you enable the cheat, then can disable it and save? The former would seem a bit brutal, basically ending your character for good because you can’t save further. Has anyone tried these?

Well if you can’t save, you wouldn’t be able to overwrite your previous save game… so you would always be able to load where you last saved.

How do you disable it, just go back to where you put it in and turn it off?

The cheats barely work. I have tried them and the weapons cheat only gives u like 3 guns where as it should give u all of them as u have the ability to switch weapons instantly. The invincibility randomly turned off when i was in a firefight and since i was going rambo with a knife i died. Basically, the cheats suck.

if you use the cheats you will not be able to save any further progress, so once you hit that cheat button you better have saved first cuz anything you do there after is all for fun…when you quit the game the last time you saved is where you will start(with cheats off). So if you dont have auto save on make it to a camp and quick save before letting lose or you will have to do what ever you did in the whole session over again. Once i saved and then went on a fun run(killing townies) but forgot to turn off auto-save….as soon as I killed a rabbit(part of a challenge) it auto-saved and I was stuck with the bad deeds….not good…best to have a save file that is a mirror but you can go in and go nuts, just dont overwrite your “real game” good luck

If I pay $65 for a game, I should have the OPTION to cheat my way through. I have other obligations and unfortuanately don’t like spending hours on missions that can be completed and equally enjoyed in minutes. you can enable cheats and finish the game in one run though. just don’t turn off your console and play till the end.

If I enable cheats play for a while without saving then start back before I used cheats will trophies still be turned off

He lies, YOU CANT SAVE WITH CHEATS ENABLE, even if you put these cheats OFF you cant Save!

none of the usefull people are comenting or answrering any of your questions. So I hope this clears up all of you confused folk :)

On red dead redemption these are how to do them;

Advice on saving: After using any cheats you shouldnt save, because it will save it with all the modes that using cheats activates. What I mean is if you save after using cheats you may never get back to reciving achivments or saving newly unlocked things when your on that save station / save slot. So what I recomend you do is save your game before you use the cheats and then after using the cheats just turn your Xbox/PS3 off, or however you like to quit your game!

The list of cheats and what they do:

Invisibility – you will not die
Code to insert: “he gives strength to the weak”

Infinite Horse Stamina – you will not slow down or be bucked off
Code to insert : “make hay while the sun shines”

Infinite Ammo – your ammo will never end
Code to insert: “abundance is everywhere”

You have the ~max~ ammo, that wont run out
Code Phrase – The root of all evil, we thank you!

Horse will appear
Code to insert “beasts and man together”

Unlocks all areas on your map that may be unlocked for you at the moment
Code to insert “You got yourself a fine pair of eyes”

You play as the character JACK
Code to insert “Oh my son, my blessed son”

Unlocks Gentleman Suit
Code to insert “Don’t you look fine and dandy”

Will able you to keep jumping to the hight you want anf walk in air
Code to insert: “You can’t stop me now”

Unlocks Sepia Filter (screen has a cartoony brownish kind of effect)
Code to insert “The old ways is the best ways”

Second set of weaponary (second half of weapon circle)
Code to insert “I’m an American. I need guns” (the full stop is necessary)

Will make you loose your bounty level
Code to insert: “They Sell Souls Cheap Here”

Allows you to walk through walls/objects
Code to insert: “Where is my barrier at”

Bounty or wanted level will not occour
Code to insert: “I wish I worked for Uncle Sam”

Become invisible
Code to insert: “Now you see me, now you dont” (the comma in necessary)

The best game play settings:

I recomend you use subtitles becasue for the people who watch the cut-scenes somtimes you cant understand what they are saying.

Screen brightness = 70 (2 noches up from the normal recomendations)
contrast = 40 (1 move down from normal recomendations)

Cursor speed = 70 (2 noches up from the normal recomendations)

Im repling to fer. you can save. You just have to go to a safe house or campsite. If in safe house hit save game then over ride saved game. if in campsite just hit save game and over ride like in the safe house. So vinz his cousin dosn’t fucking lie
