Square Enix announced today the release of the upcoming downloadable content for NIER on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 starting tomorrow, May 11th.
“World of Recycled Vessel” DLC is the very first downloadable content for NIER that will feature 15 challenging levels, new costumes, and the ability to play as the young Nier. In the DLC, the gamers will find a diary belonging to Nier’s wife on a bookshelf in the first floor of Nier’s home. Opening the diary will take Nier into a dreamscape where he will play as the Young Nier.
Playing as the Young Nier was only possible in Japan by getting a copy of Nier Replicant. There is no need now for North American and European gamers to get Nier Replicant as this DLC will allow everyone in different parts of the regions to play as the Young Nier.
