October 2, 2010 at 6:22 PMWell the first part of the game wasnt as bad as everyone makes it claim to be but, it could have had some improving like why you have a character at all in the story I cant fully understand since you never say anything they should just remove the players character alltogether and only make it used for online play. As for the whole storyline the story while playing is pretty good but it just reminds me of another repetitous monster fighting game (not saying these games are bad but a repetitous number of battling monsters just plain out gets old) the battle system is different but still basically the same as any turnbased game. They made it more useful and fun to go online and play and talk with your friends. The game will probably drop in price so why not pick it up. The game has some pretty cool fight scenes and nice Vma sequences its like a dramatic semi animated story that only gets deeper and deeper untill they tell you you will have to spend another 60$ to finish the story(only real complaint here I have never had to buy a console expansion pack to finish the story)but its an epic story but they could have atleast made it 90$ and put 2 discs in one case :P This isnt really a comment just a really small review as to encourage people to buy the game so the northamerican audience can continue the story.
I am a fan of dark cloud myself wich is a dungeon crawling town building game if you like strong stroied strategic and Coop killing bosses the size of houses in a Time-action-Based rpg game then you should pick this game up.(The games battle system revolves around learing waepon skills for certain wepons like lances, Magic, swords, 2 handers, and bows. All these wepons have faster and slower time rings and the time rings allow your person to attack when they fill up, as well you have to build up Action chips that come by either attacking or using items or skills. The action chips allow higher power moves and you can also create your own attack combos with different skills in a waepon class. I think the game has a great selection of wepons and everyperson isnt limited to one waepon you can learn them all.) After all that you can enhance your waepons to be stronger and you can also build your own city that produces goods and your citizens give you stuff to help you get rich. I hope you liked this extremeley long comment hope you buy the game and have fun.
