If you’re one of those PS3 owners who thinks the 120GB or the 60GB hard drive space isn’t enough, then you’re in for a treat as Sony is offering a service that upgrades your hard drive.
Swapping out the hard drive is easy but the risks in breaking it is there. For the price of ¥18,000, you can leave the swapping of hard drive to expert. As a bonus treat, Sony will also transfer all of your content from your old hard drive to the new one.
So far, only Japan is doing this service. No word yet if North America or PAL territories will be doing. The chances are there since there are a lot of gamers out there who are scared in swapping out their hard drives. For more information, head over to the JP PlayStation Support Page.
