NIS America’s much awaited Sakura Wars: So Long My Love for both the Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 2 is now available nationwide. For the first time ever, the first Sakura game in the series finally arrived in the land of opportunities. It is set in late 1920s in New York where you will see a lot of awesome voice overs and musicals. Isn’t that nice?
For Sakura Wars and SRPG fans, the PS2 version includes a special art book, poster, and a collector’s item outer cover. The PS2 version also comes with a double dual layered disc, each featuring the respective voiceovers of either English or Japanese. If you are looking for a killer bargain though, the Wii version is a single dual layered disc with English voiceovers. This version does not contain the bonus items, but it is offered at an attractive price point.
Check out Tim Harris’ review of the PlayStation 2 version of Sakura Wars: So Long My Love. A second opinion playing through the Wii version will be posted later this week. Stay tuned!
