Sega of America announces today that Resonance of Fate, the highly anticipated RPG from Tri-Ace, has begun shipping to retail stores nationwide. The release of Final Fantasy XIII last week received mixed emotions from critics and fans due to its linear gameplay. With Resonance of Fate releasing this week, it’s time to bring the traditional RPG back that we loved and mixing it with a Johnny Woo style gun-play.
Resonance of Fate will be available this week on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. We have the game in our office and it’s just a matter of days before we post the review. So far, it’s pretty good and I can say that it “plays” a lot better than Final Fantasy XIII. Check back this weekend for our review. For now, check out the first ten minutes video of the game:
