Namco Bandai announced today that Dead To Rights: Retribution for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 has gone gold, confirming its April 27th release date. Dead to Rights: Retribution puts players in control of two playable characters, vice cop Jack Slate and his canine companion Shadow, as they fight to uncover a conspiracy that threatens to destroy Grant City. Deadly on their own, Jack and Shadow are even more formidable as they team up in this no-holds-barred neo-noir journey.
Gamers who will pre-order the game at their participating retailers will have a special access to the downloadable packs of extra content that will expand the gameplay experience with the final retail game. The “Jack Pack” is available through EB Games Canada and GameStop. It will feature a health boostig GAC (Grant Citty Anti-Crime) armor for Jack Slate and guns-blazing “action mode” that has explosive rounds. The “Shadow Pack” is available for pre-orders at Amazon.com and includes stealth camouflage for Shadow as well as a “noir mode” that transforms graphics into a dramatic black, white and blood red color scheme. Additional post-launch DLC will also be available and details will be released in the coming weeks.
