Sonic Classic Collection will be dashing it’s way onto European shelves when the collection is released for Nintendo’s DS on March 9.
Sonic Classic Collection is a compilation of the four original Sonic the Hedgehog games (Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Sonic & Knuckes) on SEGA’s Mega Drive (Genesis in North America) console for the DS. This will mark the first time all four games have been made a portable release in their Mega Drive forms, and will have several features, including video and image content and a ‘save anywhere’ feature, similar to save states found on emulators.
The four games are regularly included in Sonic the Hedgehog collections and were more recently released on the Wii’s Virtual Console and Xbox LIVE Arcade.
