The new Metroid title from Nintendo named Metroid: Other M has an official release date penned.
The Nintendo Wii exclusive is set to arrive June 27 2010. Metroid: Other M is a collaboration between Nintendo developers and studio Team Ninja, best known for the Ninja Gaiden series. The game is played mostly like the old-skool Metroid titles; that is a side scrolling 2-D shooter although there are other gameplay elements to the game as well. The story is also going to go deeper into Samus’s story.
The aforementioned release date is for North American gamers for now. We’ll keep you posted if there are announcements for PAL regions.
