PlayStation Network will be getting a downloadable service in PAL regions by the name of FirstPlay, a ‘digital magazine’ that shows off high definition content once a week.
FirstPlay will be similar to Qore; FirstPlay will be offering high definition video reviews and previews, exclusive downloads, and more every Thursday for the price of 99p (From the “99p” bit you can probably tell that it will be released in the UK first) per episode and £8.99 for three months worth of subscribtion, and believe me subscribing will save you a bit of dough (Roughly £3).
As mentioned before, the service will be launching in the United Kingdom, and if all goes well it will later be released in other PAL territories. Sorry North America, seems like you’re out of the running. The service will be published by Future Publishing, who also publishes Official PlayStation Magazine UK.
