As with many PlayStation 3 titles a mandatory installation of the game is required before you get the chance to even play it. 5GB of hard drive space is needed to install 2K games’ much anticipated FPS title BioShock 2. This isn’t surprising since the original BioShock also required a mandatory installation of 5011MB. There’s an option for Xbox 360 gamers to install the game onto their hard drives although its unknown at this stage how big it’ll be. I do stress this is optional for Xbox 360 gamers so you can decide whether it not installing the game will have an impact on the game’s performance or not.
BioShock 2 will be available February 9 2010.
