If you want to purchase downloadable content, arcade games and other goodies on Xbox Live, you need to purchase Microsoft Points. Most of the time, there are leftover points because of the pricing of these items, causing a cycle of purchasing more points to compensate for the difference. This practice, a common annoyance to most gamers, is now the target of a lawsuit.
InformationWeek.com reported that Samuel Lassoff, an attorney from PA, was not pleased when he realized the points he bought could not be fully used, leading him to file the lawsuit, in which he states, “”Microsoft breached that contract by collecting revenues for digital goods and services which were not provided.”
