The fourth model in Nintendo’s massive success story is set to launch in Europe on March 5 2010, available in two initial colours (Wine Red and Dark Brown) and loaded with pre-downloaded content.
The DSi XL is larger than all of it’s predecessors, boating a 93% larger screen size than the DS Lite, which in turn require a much larger stylus. The XL will be preloaded with the DSiWare games: Dr Kawashima’s: Little Bit of Brain Training: Arts Edition, Dictionary 6 in 1 with Camera Function and Flipnote Studio, including an internet browser.
This is not a completely new console, merely an update of an update of an update (:P), and as such it will have the same capabilities of the DSi. There has not been any price yet revealed, but it is expected to be much dearer than the DSi, considering it’s size.
