In a recent post of Gearbox’s level designer via the Official GearBox Forums, he confirmed that a level cap increase is coming to the next update. It’s been said that it will be included in the next DLC that is due to come out really soon. Since nothing is official yet, he suggested to wait for the full announcement really soon.
