Nintendo downloads for this week in Europe include Alex Kidd in Shinobi World and the latest Monkey Island and some great WiiWare offerings!
Alex Kidd In Shinobi World (Sega, 500 Wii Points) was the last Alex Kidd game ever. Released for Master System in 1990, it was a parody of the Sega game Shinobi with Kidd attempting to rescue his girlfriend, a native of Shinobi World, from an evil ninja named Hanzo. A good ninja fuses into him and gives him his powers.
Tales of Monkey Island: Chapter 4 – The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood (Telltale, 1000 Wii Points) sees Guybrush returning to Flotsam Island where he’s immediately handed over to De Singe by Morgan LeFlay and put on trial! Guybrush must work out how to defend himself against the accusations.
Rubik’s Puzzle Galaxy’s RUSH (Two Tribes, 600 Points) is a 3D puzzle game which has you herding coloured cubes towards exits using using conveyer belts, warps, stop signs and more. You can also try to figure out the original Rubik’s Cube.
Pallurikio (Playstos, 1000 Points) is a platformer starring Rusty, a lad who is sucked into a dimensional vortex and becomes the bouncing Pallurikio in a mysterious world. You can make Pallurikio jump and roll, through more than 50 levels set in the Bakumbala Jungle, the far reaches of Palluro Prime and more.
Hell’s Kitchen VS. (Ludia Inc, 800 DSi Points) sees two players going head to head in the kitchen. You’ll have to try and beat your opponent in each time management test as Gordon Ramsay judges your performance.
Picturebook Games: The Royal Bluff (Nintendo, 500 Points) is a board game of strategy and deceit. You compete for points by adding or subtracting coloured chips from rows while trying to guess each of your opponent’s secretly assigned chip colours. Once you’re confident, issue a Call Out attempt to earn bonus points at the risk of giving your opponent an extra point if you’re wrong.
