Nintendo released today a new system update that has one purpose to do in your Wii system, that is to prevent people from running the Homebrew Channel. Yes, piracy on the Nintendo Wii is one of the things Nintendo is so annoyed about. First it was the Nintendo DS and now it’s the Nintendo Wii.
For anyone out there using the Homebrew Channel, now is not the best time to update. Could this be the end? I really doubt it because for sure, homebrewers will find an exploit to run the Homebrew Channel once again.
